Chances are you know who the White Stripes are, so I don't think I need to explain them, but in case you thought they were only this kind of stuff you hear on the radio and television, well they used to be a garage band of sorts if you can believe it and they made some pretty awesome music back in the day. This is their debut album, back when they were only the best garage rock band out of Detroit.
Punk blues garage rock before they hit the big time. If you don't want to listen to this album because you hate their more recent and popular music, then you'd be missing out on some fine garage revival. They dedicated this album to Son House and ended up recording "Death Letter" on their followup album "De-Stijl", which i would definitely recommend as well.

Favorite tracks are "Cannon", "One More Cup of Coffee for the Road (Bob Dylan cover)", "Astro", "Stop Breaking Down (Robert Johnson cover)" and "Jimmy the Exploder".
