Rockibilly frontrunners from New York and their first self-titled album that never really had a huge following in the US but ended up being pretty big in the UK. The biggest thing for Brian Setzer in the US was the fucking swing-revival bullshit he did like 10 years ago with "Jump Jive and Wail" or whatever. Fuck that shit. If you think the Stray Cats would suck because Setzer is such an ass-monkey, you would be wrong.
I can't defend their later work, but this is just great rockibilly revival stuff. I'm talking like Bill Haley & the Comets good. You're gonna have to decide for yourself if you're bad enough to listen to the Stray Cats cause they're the toughest street gang around, you know? Start wearing your hair like a greasy rocker. It's all the rage in Japan right now.
