im trying to figure out what i think about a dude sitting down in some dark place playing a song he wrote being considered a live performance and two guys with acoustic guitars playing peoples' living rooms being considered a tour. i guess it's kind of beautiful if a little too earnest for its own good. i think folk punk could be a pretty easy target but, obviously and probably for its own good, doesnt cater to the mainstream at all... just the living rooms and the basements it calls home. not even myspace.
