Mark Ronson "Version"

Yo, there's this badass dude named Mark Ronson. Chances are you've probably heard of him, but knowing some of my friends, none of you have any idea who he is. He's this awesome producer guy from London who collaborates with some of the best people in the biz. He's the one who made that no-talent, hack Amy Winehouse sound good and he co-wrote that song "Jesus Walks" by Kayne West.



His album Version features collaborations with Lily Allen, Kenna, Ol' Dirty Bastard, Robbie Williams and others. It's real groovy (for lack of a better word). There's a cover of Brittany Spears "Toxic", but I assure you, it's nothing you've heard before. "Stop Me" by the Smiths is covered by Mark and Daniel Merriweather. It was a club hit last summer. Phantom Planet covers Radiohead's "Just" on track nine.
